Dear friends of FrauenFilmTage, dear loyal visitors and attendees: we regret to inform you that the FrauenFilmTage will no longer exist.
The financial support through grants has always been low and has not grown significantly over the years. What has grown, however, were the cost of film rentals, the requirements of running the festival, and our desire to finally be able to pay adequate fees. A film festival of this size – as it has been – cannot be carried out on a voluntary basis and the quality of the FrauenFilmTage, its films and guests cannot be maintained with this low level of funding.
Therefore, it is time to say goodbye and THANK YOU for your interest, participation and support.
