We proudly present some innovations at the “FrauenFilmTage 2012”: We modernized our layout and for the first time we dedicate our “Personale” to an editor – Karina Ressler who was honoured with the Austrian award for editing.

Furthermore, we are looking forward to a new highlight of the “FrauenFilmTage”: the Honorary Award. Starting this year, we will award this prize annually to women who are committed to the art of filmmaking and to the promotion of women in this business. The Honorary Award will be awarded in cooperation with “Frauen-Arbeit-Film” and “FC Gloria” at the opening of the “FrauenFilmTage 2012” in the Filmcasino on 1 March 2012.

In the festival programme of the “FrauenFilmTage 2012” you find several films which have been successful at international film festivals. And for the first time, we have a cooperation with the VIS – Vienna Independent Shorts, an International Short Film Festival. Therefore, we have a short film programme on 3 March 2012.
